V	The City of Albuquerque and the Albuquerque Police Department are proud to sponsor the 2010 ABQ Regional PPC Tournament (formerly the 2009 Todd Parkins Memorial Regional NRA Match) to be held at the Albuquerque Shooting Range Park September 16th & 17th, 2010. This is a NRA sanctioned regional match. The NRA National Police Shooting Competition will commence September 19th through the 23rd, 2010. This event will attract municipal, state and federal law enforcement officers from across the United States. It is the last point tournament available for competitors wishing to compete in the National Police Pistol Combat Championships scheduled to begin in Albuquerque on September 19th, 2010. Most competitors and teams use this Regional Match to warm up for the National Competition. As a point for consideration, the 2009 National Competition hosted more than 500 competitive shooters and another 300 spectators daily.
